The next Town of Stony Plain Election will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025 from 9 AM to 8 PM, when voters will elect:
1 Mayor
6 Councillors
Trustees for the local school boards

Provincial changes to the Election Statutes Amendment Act require eligible voters to be listed on the permanent electors register. To see if you are registered to vote, to register in advance, or to update your registration, please visit https://www.voterlink.ab.ca/
**For clarity, you are able to register in person on the date of the election, but registering in advance may save you some time at the voting station.**

The voting stations will open at 9:00 am and will remain open until 8:00 pm. When the voting station is declared closed at 8:00 pm, any elector in the voting station who wishes to vote shall be permitted to do so, but no other person shall be allowed to enter the voting station.
